Visiting Mother Nature 9-14-2017 for Squarespace.jpg

Mother Nature is an ideal that everyone understands, but that all have trouble describing. We all want to be in her presence, but no one knows exactly where she resides. This longing to connect with the less modernized world is what drives so many to the outdoors. In their pursuit, adventurers quickly realize that it is difficult to survive in the natural world. They need help, both in understanding and in implementing.

Modern machines make getting out, into the great outdoors, a much less burdensome experience. Recreational Vehicles (RVs) are the ultimate machines for this type of visit. They provide shelter, sustenance, and safety, thus allowing for a visit that keeps modern amenities within reach.

This book is about selecting, modifying, and using RVs, mainly travel trailers, in a manner that increases our access to those places we refer to as “out there.” Most importantly, this book also teaches how to do so in the least damaging fashion.

Just as entering the wilderness requires planning, hard work, and motivation, preparing for off-the-grid RVing requires preparation, skill, and fortitude. The payoffs for both can be awesome. Spending a week in remote areas can be a transformative experience, but only if you can make it there, are able to stay, and can leave the place as pristine as when you arrived.

Join me in this pursuit, were man and machine work towards the goal of accessing the most beautiful portions of our country. We are off to see Mother Nature, to see what she can teach us about modern naturalism and how we should live as both a member of the Earth and of modern society.
